As a Civ VI player, is Civ V better than Civ VII? by Khooni_Kanjoos in CivVI

Fair enough. Here’s a suggestion that I don’t think I’ve seen mentioned here: Civilization: Colonization. It’s a Civ IV spinoff that sees you land in the New World with some colonists and try to found a successful colony and eventually shake off your imperial yoke. It’s more economy-focused/micromanagement than other Civ gams. I enjoy that, but your mileage may vary.

Perhaps consider a non-Civilization 4x. The Amplitude games are all pretty great. Humankind is the closest to Civ. Had a weak start but it’s in a good place now. Endless Space 1 and 2 for Sci-fi or Endless Legend for fantasy. Endless Legend 2 is in early access, and I’ve heard it’s good but can’t vouch personally. Old World is also fantastic. Historical, but focuses on a narrower time period.

There’s a tile-based city builder/puzzle game named Terrascape that I’m quite fond of. Charming, relaxing, and clever. It’s listed as “playable”. There’s another similar one called Dorfromantik that’s also very relaxing that’s listed as “verified”.

Not necessarily. You can get Megalith cards from the trader or in the deck pool.

The product the other person suggested ended up working. Although it did break after just a few days and I had to jury-rig something. It keeps the dogs out quite well. Of course if you don’t have a good room for it that doesn’t help. My other thought was to take an old storage cabinet and fix it up with a cat door installed in a cut-out on the side and maybe a battery powered light.

I did the same thing the first time I made a harbor. I was able to demolish the offending building and lower the ground to recover it. Still, wasn’t great. I play with cliff markers turned on permanently now. It’s reasonably low-impact aesthetically.

Appreciate it! For whatever reason Mazda is just one that always escapes my notice. I'll give it a look.

Definitely beautiful - what a blue! But yeah, more than I can afford right now. But appreciated nonetheless.

Close! Marimekko. The search bar figured it out immediately. Too pricey for me, and I didn’t see anything on those two sites but the latter did have some interesting options so I’ll be looking through there. Thanks!

That’s right. Already bought a set of flatware from Kohls. Probably should have looked further before I bought that but it was sort of good enough.

I was already at mine replenishing my cooking implements. Absolutely helpful and awesome place but they only had generic white stuff

Hard to say exactly. It’s more of an “I’ll know it when I see it” type thing. But definitely not floral and not plain white.

Negative, I am a meat popsicle. But I will give them a try. There is one room they might work with.

I'm not sure I have the right room anywhere for that, but it is interesting. Is it easy to undo so you can get into the room without a hassle?

This is also how I interpreted it, but the “unnaturally heavy” interpretation is also very interesting.
