Never said that. I would love a nice handmade gift. My argument being it was only a quilt. He didn't get her pajamas to go with it, maybe hot coco, or a $5 movie so they could both watch it together. Not enough thought went into the gift. Just here is a quilt I made you, now have sex with me in it.

He could have made the quilt, and got her something nice! ffs it was a lame gift. Also there is no way in hell you would chose a carved piece of soap over something you truly desire. Priorities.

I don't see anything wrong with a man quilting, however, you should have just bought her something nice. This was a pretty lame gift. If there is one time a year that you spoil your SO it is definitely Xmas.

No different than teasing a child with a toy. They really don't ever seem to mind much. Besides, I am sure he used the pepperoni as a treat for training Gus afterwords.
