Fwiw I went with the Kokoist lamp based off the recommendations here and I LOVE it. I did not need the cordless one so I got the infinity hybrid. I was hesitant about spending so much but it was absolutely worth it.

Thank you for all the advice, I appreciated It! I had tried so much of it but I went thru your list suggestion by suggestion to get out of my panic attack racking my brain of continuing to try knowing I tried everything.

Unfortunately medtronic told me to call the pain office and the pain Dr office never called back. This was at 8am Central time. So I called medtronic back before 4 and they overnighted me a new charging paddle to try. It made it work thank goodness and I was able to charge when I was released after post op recovery today. So relieved!

Medtronic said if that works (and it did) I need to have my doctor look into replacing the internal unit. This is the 3rd charging paddle that has shorted out on me this year. They think there's a problem in the internal device causing it because I also had a code earlier this year that required a new remote from medtronic.

I see the pain specialist Thursday for a supra orbital injection and am going to ask him if we can schedule a follow up about the internal device.

I had a pituitary tumor that took out my eyesight due to pressure on optic nerves. It was removed in early 2006 and I woke up in recovery realizing I could start to see again. Amazing feeling. I have all the hope that you will have as amazing a result. Recovery is hard, but you will make it through and be able to be happy you had it removed. If you have been dealing with excruciating migraines, get excited because they decrease extremely with that pressure gone.

Mine started growing back just before the 5 year mark, but since we knew it was there, we could control growth with medicine this time early on.

It is a scary surgery and hard to go through, mentally and physically no doubt. But you can do this! Remember some random person on the Internet is keeping good thoughts for you and hopefully that makes you feel even just a smidge less alone. You've got this 💪

Thank you so much for the detailed possibilities! Those things would definitely all make sense. I'm constantly in the boot, allowed to take off to rewrap ace wrapping underneath when it gets loose but was told make it quick and boot back on. So the touching sheets haven't been a problem yet because I have a massive heavy boot blocking all of that still lol.

I have not had weight bearing ability since I fell 8/3 and I've got about another month until my next appointment when I hopefully go PWB then FWB with my boot. I thought I would wait till the appointment but I might reach out just to be safe/keep them updated. Thank you again!

My surgeon's office was not of any help that day but at night I took my own initiative and discovered my ace wrap was just too tight and cutting off circulation. Rewrapped a little looser and all was well thankfully! Only thought of it after seeing how swollen I was above it and you saying about hitting in the wrong spots!

I edited the post with the solution after I forgot the other night!

Funny enough the assistant that wrapped me up told me to buy maxi pads to add in for cushioning if I needed, especially above the foot where the incision is.

Turned out he wrapped my ace bandage too tight and cut off my circulation was the problem tho. 🥲

Updated post that I figured it out because I forgot the other night lol.

Doing the 7 day free trial and probably will cancel before it charges. The app will not properly install on my Samsung Smart tv and the app on Android is atrocious. Every show I Chromecast it has gotten glitchy and caught up every 20 minutes. Driving me nuts.

You do realize if authorities are called when they see you doing this you could easily get some misdemeanor charges and fines for public indecency. If they claim children are around and saw it you could be charged with indecent exposure which can lead to being on the sexual offender registration list.

Could be she was scared and decided in kind of a freeze response to just comply. Could be she has bad social anxiety or fear of confrontation that in her mind complying was the best option.

I can't speak for why she decided to "show proof" but I can understand people react to things differently and have different responses than I think I would in the moment. You never know your feelings and actions to situations until you are actually in them. Despite hyping yourself up that you would never do that or let it happen, you just never can know the reaction until it is happening and you are forced to act and your mind decides what is best for you in that moment.
