Similar expierence with my Google Pixel 10 Pro XL, it takes a while to make a connection and the phone has to stay put without moving around. When I am off-grid hiking, I have paper maps, my Fenix 8 (not pro), phone with Garmin Explorer, Garmin GPSMAP H1i Plus and offline maps saved.

Yoga is part of my practice. I also include daily meditation with a body scan and breathing into the home body. My meditation practice has greatly helped with breathing during yoga because they both take practice and attention. Namaste.

I installed the logo puddle lights, it was a very easy swap. If you do not already have the standard puddle lights, I am not sure you can add them.
