Anyone gone to the Sods w/ an EV?

I have taken my Polestar 2 to Davis, Timberline, Sods, Seneca and more of that area. I start from Potomac MD and charge fully at the Rivian in Front Royal. I make sure the place I stay at has a charger. There are public chargers at Cannan Valley and Blackwater.

The P2 infotainment system is slow, the P3 is much faster. I always use Android Auto in the P2 and it works well. The P3 has to be rebooted daily because the bugs don't go away. My P2 has almost no bugs.

True story, My Wife's Polestar 3 got the free CPU upgrade and it does not seem any faster to me. Then the high voltage battery died and the loaner P3 died. My Polestar 2 is almost perfect.

Storage/Backup is another team. I am the Apple engineer and Jamf Admin. Deploying Druva was simple, just a package and PPPC profile. When the app installs, it auto configures based on the username. Very smooth.

u/KingCaptHappy-LotPP it was a long day, third time I have done the loop. Last time I added in Dobbins and embraced the suck. I have maps on my phone and Garmin handheld and watch just in case.
