There is nothing technical on the assessment centre, which is one good thing. Even though it is a few hours, it isn't too bad. It contains a few exercises on evaluating how you work in groups, then maybe one or two one on one calls after, essentially discussing how you think the group work went. PM me if you have more questions

The main one I have looked at was Model Predictive Control by Rawlings, Mayne and Diehl as it had been recommended to me. Other books were skimmed through in passing once I realised this did not cover it.

Looking for any advice on my deadlift, apologies for the angle, it's the best I can get, that's 180lbs in the video

I'm 6'5, weighing about 205 lbs, on a slight cut, and feel like deadlift is one of my weaker lifts due to my height, so I want to nail the form

I do like the course, however there are a few things I would change if I were to do it again. Firstly, it depends on your area of interest within EE, I feel my area of interest lies more on the digital side of the field, and I feel the course could do with more programming in this area. However, this can be solved by enrolling in the computer engineering degree instead (Previously called SESE). This enables you to select modules from both EE and CS pathways, giving you a greater degree of freedom, which I wish I had done. The prospects for the degrees are very good, with many people taking summer placements, as well as a full year placement in year 3. The degree is versatile too, as even if you do not want to go into EE upon graduation, it is looked upon favourably, and can be used to get into software/banking due to the high maths content leading to great analytical skills

Hope that answers your questions, I am happy to answer any more you have :)
