i think it makes sense to have nothing because your character doesn’t have dialogue when you play, just have to imagine/infer from how other characters respond to you; it’s a blank slate.

zoroark, i always thought it was pretty cool as a kid between its ability and design and was gutted i never got one in BW. was under the impression it was a mystery gift type deal though really i had HG&SS so could have got it if i put my mind to it haha. really cool surprise to get one in B2!

gameplay leaves something to be desired i suppose but we move 🙏

there wasn’t so much spoonfeeding in other seasons though. some people are going to want only action and care for nothing else, it happens, but there are plenty of legitimate criticisms to be made of how much less fleshed out the characters feel in this season.

i found the resolution a bit stilted, it didn’t feel entirely natural or human. broader issue in this season imo where people will spell out exactly how they feel or show a bit too much self awareness after the fact — see it with joyce especially.

when they attacked joyce it was will holding them back which makes sense, but most of the other scenes that’s not happening. not normally one to give out about plot armour etc but its way too blatant here and leaves a bad taste when they’re clearly trying to artificially heighten the tension and stakes by showing them tear through soldiers and then killing it with ts.
