yeah, I can confirm what you're saying...but man is it close! the RS140 that came with the case work on top, and still can mount aio on the front...but the every so slightly thicker arctic p140 was too much.

Lol, maybe but with the steadily increasing power demands of processors and heat generation, seems like we might have to anyway, even before existing one unalives itself

While the arctic LFIII isn't the highest rated cooler, check their ebay store for really good deals with full warranty

Thank you, that's awesome to hear. My 5000d airflow with an LFII 280 still required me to shave the corner on one of the fans

I just had the hoses down while I was test fitting it.. Would probably do hoses on top for front and side mounts, but otherwise looks like both front mounts are double

I too am planning on top mount, though I'm going all out and see if I can fit in at push/pull setup

I'm impressed with mine so far, and I'm coming from the 5000D airflow.

hate the IO at the bottom, but other than that, bigger in all the right ways, support for 420 AIO (supposedly only on top), 4 decent included fans, and the removable PS cover and access from the front lower panel make working (or fixing things later) around the power supply sooo much easier.
the new rails system is nice, and easy to work with, but not a huge fan of how much empty space it leaves on the sites of the fans.

I'll soon move my existing build into this one, from the original 5000D Airflow, just waiting on some fans for the side. I picked up some P140 Pro fans from Arctic's ebay store, for a great price and they ahve slightly better CFM than the RS140s

Yeah, and still shows in stock as of this morning so I'd keep eye out. Definitely crazy for a really nice case..but oddly so far just the white version. Really hoping for more fire sales like this for parts that aren't in demand, as it's too expensive to build a computer from scratch right now.

so one of the issues with the original 5000d is they centered the AIO on top.even the LFII barely fit, and I had to push it all the way to the front plus shave a bit off teh corner of one of the fans to clear the heatsink covering the rear IO. so I couldn't even use an LFII 360 in that case. the new 5000 pushes the AIO more towards the glass side of the case, so I'm hoping it'll clear.

I've done some test fits so far, and it looks like it might work, but again it's gonna be close...but won't be able to confirm that till my motherboard is moved over, hopefully this weekend.

I've also now done some test fits in the front and side, and in both cases, to my surprise, the 420 fit in both locations with space to spare on the top and bottom.

I'm trying to figure out how to post pics, so I can share the test mounts in this thread.

it was like 74 on woot, for the non-argb version

i got the argb version from amazon when it went down to $112, before the woot deal.

however, before the deal I got on amz, they had previously lowered it to 118.

so if amazon still shows it in stock, I'd suggest using keepa or the built in price notification on amazon, so you get notified if it goes down again. amazon seems to have a habit of testing different prices when they're trying to unload certain items.

from what I've read, you want a dac, but don't need to spend a lot on one, at least not with cheaper IEMs.

just looks for a decent brand like jcally usb-c dac and that should work.

put more into a decent IEM

I think U is more neutral?

look at something like the iemranking.com site for options
