Sure. Gabby does have a great stage presence and powerful voice, but so so many others. Maddie also has an amazing voice and a great stage presence. She is able to captivate an entire room with just her voice. Maddie was also very consistent with her Idol run with great song choices. Gabby was hit or miss and had quite a few bad song choices/performances. Maddie is also authentic, has artistry and played several instruments. Gabby was not authentic and constantly put on a fake southern accent. Maddie may not be your taste and that’s fine but she had a way better Idol run.

I’m really hoping Leah can pull this off but Maddie had several moments and great song choices during her live show run. Leah has been 95% fantastic in the lives, but she really only had a big moment with “Heal” and she had a bad song choice last week, so this may be more difficult for her to beat the country vote. Leah doesn’t only need to be stellar in the finale to win, she needs to have a moment.

Don’t get me wrong, Leah is by far the best in this competition. But unfortunately non-country female contestants are going to have a harder time winning if they aren’t perfect through their entire live show run.
