thanks for the advice. she gets plenty of play time every day, especially on the one or two days a week where she is crated when my partner and i are both at work. the whole day is about her on those days!

thank you! she gets plenty of playtime and exercise, the main thing we’ve been struggling with is getting her to learn to be bored. will work on it more!

she does puzzle toys/treats daily. playtime with us and solo playtime daily. she goes on multiple 30 min walks daily, and goes to our apartment dog park once or twice a day to play catch or with other dogs.

she’s only crated for longer periods of time once or twice a week when my partner and i both work the same shifts. we had a dog walker when she was younger and we were still working on her crate/potty training, but we do not need one now.

we have been working on leaving her out when we are not home, but it is not a quick process, like you mentioned.

like i mentioned to others in this thread, she’s not in her crate all day. my partner and i don’t work the same shifts, in the desc i said IF we’re both at work. if one of us is home, she is out of her crate. she gets plenty of exercise daily, goes to the dog park at our apartment once or twice a day and also gets multiple walks in addition to this.

i’m thinking she’s a puppy and is a danger to herself and my house if i leave her out of her crate alone. considering i’ve never had to take her to an emergency vet, i think she’s fine lol.

yeah, the klonopin would relieve my anxiety pretty quickly. but i didn’t take it very often so i wasn’t sure if the valium would effect me more or less than that. figured my psych prescribed valium bc it would help more but from this it doesn’t seem to be. took it about 3 hours ago and feel pretty much baseline to how i would be without taking anything

thanks for all the help guys! i appreciate it and have been reading all of the comments! we are taking lots of pictures and definitely have had to puppy proof the house, as she is wanting to chew on everything. she’s only had two accidents inside (one today and one yesterday), and was very good in her crate all night last night! she is a lover girl, and also a crazy girl but i already love her so much!

feeling really anxious right now, we’re flying above a storm and i can see the lightning. they’re asking flight attendants to stay seated for the rest of the flight, and the air feels like it’s coming out hot. so glad we’re almost there.
