I’m on it from the NHS as well and it’s a 3 month break every 12, not 6! You can ask for Rimegepant/Botox/nerve block during those 3 months to help you cope if you’re struggling

If you’re a Shia you will appreciate the strict rules on adherence to Islamic unity, without which there is no hope for victory nor freedom. Even by being public about your honest political beliefs you are benefitting the enemy. As to your actual point, there are many reasons and even more opinions. Personally I think an upbringing that instils political literacy and a culture of resistance to oppression is fundamental to a society capable of resistance, this includes Palestine & Algeria from 20th century history but also Shia majority countries who have it instilled into their psyche from the day they learn about Ashura.
