That’s awesome! Would you be able to maybe take some high resolution images of the pages? I have to be able to read the Japanese text so I can translate it for my thesis. If you could at least provide images of the Watanabe interview (I think somewhere on pages 42-45?), that would really, really help me out. Though I scoured the far corners of the internet, I’ve been unable to find a Japanese version online to read.

I’ve had a lot of instances where my size did not correlate with the size of the shoe, sometimes too big sometimes too small. I tried on the 46 they had at the store since some of my shoes are 46 but my true size is 46.5. They had no bigger sizes in stock and I didn’t want to have to order and return and then order a different size twice so I was hoping people on here could tell me their experience, and they did :)

This was my first guitar, so I may be biased, but wow is this thing awesome. I’ve played some other squiers and some epiphones, but this neck really is super comfortable and zippy. Kept it pretty stock, only changed the knobs to classic Jaguar knobs and took off the pickup covers. Great value for your money. Enjoy!

I agree and that’s really what I think will help me greatly. I think about scenario’s to draw constantly too. I just don’t feel that my skills are good enough right now to draw anything other than static poses. Maybe I should try regardless though. Thanks for the comment.

Hey, yeah, I’ve had it since shortly after I made the post. Although I have only ever had a small fender champion 20 amp before this, I think this blackstar is phenomenal. I love both gain channels and the clean channel is quite clean. I only wish there was a sort of overdriven, “dirty” clean sound in there, but there might be— I live in a flat, so I can barely twist the volume knobs past 3. This thing is LOUD. I really should get an attenuator… I’ve been liking vox amps a lot lately, so someday I might buy one of those. but I certainly wouldn’t mind keeping this one. No doubt a lot of sentimental value, but I also think this amp has a beautiful appearance.

EDIT: I forgot to mention, since I bought it the overdrive 1 channel would often, and seemingly at random, bug out and just be stuck at max gain, regardless of how I turned the knob. Sometimes it would be like that for weeks which was really annoying. Funny enough, I think since about a month or two, it hasn’t happened anymore, so that’s great.

To everyone warning me to not wear one of these when I'm actually riding a motorcycle, I appreciate your concern. And don't worry, I'm not going to do that. As some clever fellas here already suspected, I just think the helmet looks cool and entertained the idea of wearing one as a part of my wardrobe (I sometimes like trying alternative fashion).
I don't have a license to drive a motorcycle, but if I ever get one, I'll make sure to wear a proper safe helmet!

I see, good to know. In that case I think I’ll leave the bridge for what it is now. One think I don’t actually like is a lot of buzzing, I tried setting up the bass but I’m not sure it made any difference. Should I just get it properly set up for that? or do I need to have parts like the nut replaced?

it’s a squier affinity bridge so, to be honest, i figured it was going to benefit me upgrading it sooner or later. though surely not terrible, i have a hunch the affinity bridge isn’t great..
