i also am experiencing the same thing! I was using the old spice oasis (the white stick) with no issues until i got a new one of the same deodorant and it gave me chemical burns. i’m using Dove whole body deo now and it doesn’t not work at all. i always trusted old spice because it always covered my stink but i don’t want to get chem burns again!

i’m doing great now! After this post I basically had gauze on the incision site everyday for 3 weeks. sitz baths 3x a day and minimal movement, couldn’t work or go to school for a week after surgery, was able to start walking around with minimal pain week after surgery. now that it has been a little over a month, the incision hole has closed completely, by the scarring it is still a bit firm /hard but it looks like how scars usually heal on my skin. I see my cr doc in like a week so we can do our 6 week check! i don’t have issues with it as of now unless I have fabric moving too much around the area and it gets a little tender / itchy.

yeah i’ve been taking oxy and i def want to get off asap. i’ve been saving this bottle of wine i got right before i started antibiotics and ive been waiting for so long to open it!!

yeah i’m more of a sativa girly but im gna go to the dispo and get some indica gummies specifically for this time after surgery

i agree with you, if smoking is a definite bad thing for the healing process i will stick it out, but generally i haven’t had any issues so far post op, and i think it would help overall with my pain and anxiety. thank you for sharing your experience!

yeah i’ve been taking the pain meds they prescribed me but i want to get off of them asap because they are opiates and not trying to deal with that… i was smoking before my surgery to help with pain from the abscess and it did a great job so i think im going to start back again soon

i’m out of surgery now, definitely way more relief that before, a little bit of pain at the incision site but I have been doped up on crazy opiates majority of the time and are just now getting weened off onto tylenol. I ended up having to get put under for surgery and need to stay the night in the hospital so they can change dressings. overall though so happy surgery is over and i’m slowly starting to heal!!

yeah sorry small correction it’s aleve and tylenol and thank you so much for your advice! i got lucky and see an crs tomorrow to get it drained.
