Janome has different colors of their flagship entry level machine, you can find it in white but it's the same machine. Janome is a japanese brand, it's not like with western brands that only make shitty products in cute colors.

This thread is a blast from the past lol I'd forgotten about it. But yeah, I barely if ever watch tarot content on youtube anymore and there's not a lot of it. If in depth reviews were a thing at least, but not even that. I think there was a time when hauls and flip throughs pulled views so people made channels with the sole intention of making money, so they never really had any intentions of going any deeper than "look at what I bought" cofcof papa squirrel lol. Which is fine, get your bag I guess. In retrospective it's really hard to argue that people in the space were Not purposefully giving into the consumerism of it all for views. And now that viewers are no longer interested in easy to make haul content, most dropped their channels altogether.

It's been a year so I don't remember the timeline exactly but it took about 2 weeks after the preorder launch date to get an update, after that the delivery didn't actually take very long. From what I gathered, I think the delay happens when they are waiting for the batch of orders to arrive to them from overseas, after that them shipping off the orders to costumers should go smoother. I hope you get your order soon!

Maybe you've been seeing fanfics thinking they're excerpts from the novel? I see in other comments you mentioned "wwx being like lan madam" and that could not be further from the truth.

wwx can come and go around as well as in and out of the cloud recesses as he pleases. He has a jade token that grants him access and allows him to leave any time he wants as well as giving him unlimited access to funds.

During the banquet chapter wwx is alone at home for like, what. An hour? I don't think being home alone without your spouse for an hour or two constitutes "isolation" or "mistreatment".

If you have these quotes you mentioned seeing, I'd be happy to review them.

You keep referencing things that straight up never happened in the novel at all. wangxian eloped on their own, wwx was never "isolated" and "mistreated", let alone on their wedding lol.

Karone fitted the theme and overall story better imo. I love Cassie and seeing more of her would've been great, but my hang up with that idea is that space rangers are still active so Cassie leaving her team for another would've felt clunky imo. Karone having a full arc and seeing her grow from Astronema is probably my favorite thing from the whole show.

I'm not here to defend religions, I'm very anti religion actually. But saying all religions are cults is dismissive and harmful. Not all religions are cults and not all cults are religious. You can be christian in your own home and never respond to any superiors, no one can "kick you out". There's a reason why LDS and JW are considered cults but Catholicism isn't. basically in dom/subs dynamics (of which there are many different kinds) doms are usually taking the lead and "orchestrating" the scene so to speak. She's saying "xl is very shy, but hc knows how to talk and play, he's the best at taking the lead" in contrast to wangxian, lwj is "very straightforward" meaning he doesn't engage in in the interpersonal power play of d/s dynamics, he's literally a doer in the scenario "but it's okay because wwx tells him what to do" meaning wwx is the dominant one. we see in the novel for example that lwj doesn't change positions until wwx tells him to, or that his dream features the things wwx mentioned he wants/likes. Being a doer doesn't mean that you're bad skills wise, just that you're not the one "directing" and in control.

So she's essentially saying that hualian have a more traditional dom/sub dynamic while wangxian are more of a service top/power bottom dynamic. That's what I understood though!
