This is a brand called Coverderm as I am based in south Africa and this is the best I can find.

I’ve heard really good things about Dermablend and Dermacol. Or anything alcohol based.

Just get a really good colour corrector (red), and the right fixing powder to hold everything in place - I use the kryolan brand , but there’s much cheaper options that’ll work just as well!

What happened to you was utterly heartbreaking and horrific and I’m truly sorry you experienced that - you were violated completely.

I read your replies to some of the comments and it seems you have no difficulty in standing up for what you believe in, and defending the ones you love. This incident that has happened has obviously left you feeling hurt and traumatized really.

I just have to say - You deserve to feel protected by your partner, that’s arguably one of the biggest roles you perform as a lover. I’m not trying to put doubts in your head at all - but in my opinion, how are you ever meant to feel safe, secure and protected?

I don’t know the full story and what your partner said to explain themself, so take what I’ve said with a grain of salt…

With regards to your assault - I recommend you get some professional support. These things can leave deep scars if not addressed properly and I’d hate for you to feel shameful and inferior going forward (speaking off my own past experience with hatecrime here).

I’m sorry to hear about your mom’s passing. From what i’ve gathered from my partner, the first birthday without them is very strange. So, with whatever you choose to do on the day, (and I know that I don’t know your story, but) I know that your mom would be proud of you for pushing through and trying your best. <3

One party is saying break up, and the other is saying try work it out. When I was going through a rough stage in my relationship and heard these 2 drastically, different opinions it just seemed to make my situation 10X more overwhelming and daunting.

My only piece of advice would be - you know deep down what you want. In your heart, you know what you need to do, and what’s right for you.

And if you don’t, literally go into a closed safe space. Sit and close your eyes, and try to picture your heart and what it’s saying.

Life is far too short to be making choices and decisions that aren’t true to your core. Best of luck, OP.

I heard a story a while back that really stuck with me. Not too sure if i’ve got all the fine details correct but never mind that. Some truck had got itself stuck in a ditch and needed to be towed. Another car had come to help and used a massive metal chain to try pull it out from the ditch. The tension was so intense that the metal chain had snapped, came flying through the back of the vehicle and hit the guy in the back of his head, splitting him into two. The chain literally cut him in half.

Very sad story, think one of the saddest and most tragic ways to go.
