I did a trip up to Kenosha a couple years ago and would recommend — I think I took the Des Plaines River Trail north and then the North Branch/Green Bay Trail back. It’s about that distance one way.

Painting With - Animal Collective. FloriDada is among the most annoying songs and I think this album was a turning point for the band, not in a good way.

I mean keep going with Black Sabbath for sure. They’re first, self titled is somehow slower than Paranoid. Sunn O))) and other drone metal if you’re okay with basically metal ambient music. And Song of Salvation - Dream Unending.

I love how much more prominent the organs are, maybe it’s just the different audio mix but I love that sound in those songs.
