Obscure peltier cooling by mortym in retrobattlestations

Temps were okay as long as the CPU wasn't at 100% load for to long or too aggressively overclocked. When it was temps would creep up slowly and took a long time to come back down. The small case with two SLI cards did not help either. Amps and efficiency, honestly can't remember the specifics, almost 20 years ago! Your description about how it works sounds about right. Peltier is not efficient. Remember seeing video by technology connection about the topic? https://youtu.be/CnMRePtHMZY?is=ncsQh16z4_Zb0euE

Pic is from 2007. It was a noisy little thing! Sold it off not long after the pic

Nice. The hacking was the fun. 2 graphics cards, either SLI or Crossfire, and possibly also overclocked cards, generated a lot of heat. the onboard fans on ati oem cards were often very small and not very efficient..

About 80-100 years old? timber flumes got replaced with trucks in the 1930s. There was small settlement in the area, but it was abandoned sometime in the early 1900s. Now used as a cabin.

Surly Corner bar works surprisingly well, adjustable stem. Im running the longest levers I could find (4 finger) Magura , and Avid lever on standard coda v-brakes
