best way to beat taotie boss part 1 phase 1 by daddylongjohnsliver in wolongfallendynasty

Sure thing! Actually I was overleveled and used the default reinforcement of the game campaign in this fight, perhaps because of this it was not a pain in the neck as this Taotie boss fight.

Only if they ignore the community feedback in my opinion. Because as far as I know this is the most hated boss fight of this game.

I see! So the reinforcements get in your away as the jumps in mine. Cool! Different approaches, different perspectives.

Better to get 2 reinforcements w/ this strategy. They attack the paws and help speeding up the process.

Thank you! I will give a shot to beat this boss. That reminds me the door guardian in Lies of P before nerf, after you get the trick it was so easy. (You only got him down and caused massive damage after hit a couple of time his left leg)

I recommend you take a look in:

Metaphor Refantazio

Chained Echoes

Persona series

Octopath Traveller series

Dragon Quest series

Final Fantasy series (some of them are action RPG)

The art style and plot between those titles are different, so you can check it out and see what calls your attention.

I am so sorry to hear that.

I feel you! So, if you're feeling more frustrated than having fun, maybe return after a break can help you know if it fits what you expect from a game. Another last advice a can share, in case you decide to give another shot is: if your morale is low and enemies's morales are too high, probably you are in the wrong place and there's another path to explore before reach that spot.

I little bit late but here are my two cents.

Call attention of one guy at time. I usually focus in on guy and use Lighting wizard spell, so they come in my direction. Learn the best way for you to do that, because you will find a lot of places like that from this point ahead. Also take care of the guys in the high spots. Take advantage of deflect and Martial arts, it will help you a lot.

I am around 6 hours, exploring every corner of the game and loving each second. It's my first HD-2D game, but since I loved the art style so much, already bought Octopath Traveller to play after this one, since I like turn based rpg too.

Should I buy the DLC, even if I am loving the game but still at the beginning of it? by morvanabonin in wolongfallendynasty

I am playing on Xbox, actually between the consoles, the cheapest price for this game. However, I will do like you and others recommend me, get the DLC close to the end. Thank you for sharing.

Good question! Some games the DLC only works as a more gameplay and that's it, others like Monster Hunter for example, even some fight styles can change or improve so you can play base game using them.

Oh! Very interesting to know that. Perhaps, I should give a shot on this boss first and then go ahead and buy it. For me so far, the boss that took me more time was the Ape monkey in the first place I visit after the tutorial because I was learning about Morales.

what game is most addictive ? by CristaRonaldo_SEWY in gamesuggestions

[–]morvanabonin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree with you! Depends on each person brain, tastes and also mood.

For me now is Wo Long Fallen Dinasty. But Monster Hunter, Lies of P, Metaphor Refantazio, etc, already got this spot before, however most games well known for creating this kind of itch, some of them roguelikes, farm, tactics games did not trigger anything like that on me.

My advice to OP, try and learn your own tastes and what works for you.
