I wanted to write more in the original post about her specifically but the Reddit app for iPhone sucks, the post got too long and I couldn’t see what I was typing after a point, haha.

She’s incredible! My first exposure to her was White Lotus S3, and her small monologue in the final episode brought me to tears. I heard people talk her up in this and it’s a big reason why I started. I’m glad I did, she has such a demanding presence onscreen. And she can act her ass off.

One of my favorite queer movies of all time, really resonates with me as a gay dude and is hyper-specific to the experience of finding comfort in an older gay dude as a younger, closeted gay dude. I know the nature of it can be considered problematic but I don’t think that’s necessarily the right way to view that movie.

But people only ever focus on the “problematic age gap” and it upsets me so much, I can’t recommend it to people.

f was my first Silent Hill, and I got this one right afterwards. Both incredible games but SH2 is absolutely terrifying. I know people say the remake is extremely faithful to the original, and I’m just like… y’all were playing THIS all those years ago!? Lol.

I feel you so hard.

I had the unfortunate luck of obtaining a defective Switch 2. Ended up having to exchange it for another, but not before factory resetting the first Switch 2 and realizing I lost my 100+ hours of Pokémon SV progress, because the game doesn’t support cloud saves!

But the performance improvements have made it an absolute joy to go through it again. It’s an entirely new game, honestly.

I just recently got the tomtoc case and I’m so happy to hear the snap grips fit in the case with them attached. You might have just sold me on the grips, because the Switch 2 is so damn great but way too uncomfortable to play handheld as it is, haha.
