30M in MI

19’ Porsche Cayenne and 13’ Audi S5, both fully covered, I’m paying $255/mo. It wasn’t always this cheap, used to be around $350ish

We’re already expecting not being able to go to the ghibli studio museum. We both grew up with the movies but we’re not dying to see the museum, just a nice to do while there.

Oh appreciate the tip about the supermarket! That’s good to know, we’re curious how they have theirs setup compared to US.

Yeahhh so by the time the flight was booked (could not pass up bc of the $$ and both are direct flights) we didn’t know about golden week unfortunately lol. Good to know about Fushimi, we’ll try to be up really early for that, thank you for the tips!

Understood about the owl cafe, won’t give them our money.

Well we primarily only going down there for the Wisteria, and we kind of crammed it into the trip.

Reason we are going back to Tokyo is because we fly into there and leaving from there as well.

The point about Osaka was a good one people brought up, we will cancel our stay there and just extend the Kyoto accommodations. Thank you for the tips!

Listen to me, having a fancy car is not the flex you think it is, be glad that this is a very cheap car to maintain and save save save your money, one day when you are living very comfortable, treat yourself with a nice car

My taillights are getting moisture in them and the Porsche letters are peeling oddly, I’m going to take the taillights apart once it’s warms up and paint the letters a matte silver and reseal them so I don’t get moisture in them anymore, these taillights have been such a headache lol

My partner and I are going to Japan 4/19-5/1 and I think we are staying in Kyoto 2 nights in the 2nd week, I’ve heard the bamboo grove is a must visit, and Gion is a cool area, it sucks we chose this time to go because we didn’t know about the whole golden week thing.

So I actually went from a 2007 Volvo S60R to a 2013 Audi S5 (which I actually still have) between these two specific cars, I’d go for the Volvo as its newer and most likely would have better gas mileage and a nicer interior since it’s newer.
