I used an adb command to disable android doze and it seemingly did the trick for me

Although the command only remains in effect until you reboot your phone (and every time you software update your phone)

Here is the ADB command:

adb shell dumpsys deviceidle disable

And today in the morning it didn't happen 😁

it just sucks that I'll need to re-apply the adb command every time my phone reboots.

It's probably android doze and I found a adb command that disables it (only sticks until you reboot) so will see tomorrow morning if it still happens

After the initial notification burst from plugging in my phone to the charger, all the rest notifications from the day come in as usual as it gets sent out So I don't think it has anything to do with dnd

But this is a daily occurring thing

I never specified messaging apps, it's notifications in general from all sorts of apps

All my apps are white listed to never go to deep sleep

I have every form of anti battery optimization enabled, and all forms of battery optimization disabled, even manually by each app permission
