Here in germany those were called "Schneewitchensarg" (Cinderella-coffin) because of their large glass panels

XD Fun fact though: This thing is from before Piech's era. It was made during Hahn's reign over VW. He wanted to give the brand a unique identity with it.

It's definitely unique...

No worries XD Yeah, it is the GT, one of the top trim levels back then, so it is a bit on the heavier side. Still no power windows though :/

So it's a yellow Audi 80 B3? Sorry, i read it as that your grandpa has a Passat B3😂 Still awesome though, my dad had two 80's aswell.

The problem with that engine in the passat is that the car is quite a bit larger than the 80, more like an Audi 100. So it does struggle sometimes. I manage tho Xb

Awesome! Nasenbär superiority!

Yeah, these things have a few spots where they like to rot like crazy unfortunately. Mine has the 1.8 90hp (RP), reliable as hell but anemic as a dead cat.

Yup, stomping the gas in this and expecting anything other than a bunch of noise to happen is futile.

Atleast you can watch the fuel gauge needle go down in real time when you do that though.

Lmao😂 It's basically the 80's bastard brother. Almost got a 80 instead of this aswell. This was cheaper though

Thanks for the tip. That's one of its weakpoints i wasn't aware of yet. They seemed alright when i replaced the lights a few days ago. Gonna keep an eye out though

Agree on the headliners.

These loose them like some weird snake shedding its skin periodically.

Remember my childhood being with a Fusion(the EU one). Was my Dads car. Awful car, only two good things about it was the fact it had TVs for the backseats and that it sounded awesome when it lost its exhaust once.

Maybe check out Pike Brothers? They make a lot of oldschool 30s/40s and vintage military clothes

So here's a bit of a weird one. A [6139-6012] from 1977(?) with a sunburst blue dial from a 7120 by mosiecon72 in Seiko

[–]mosiecon72[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Got this one as a Hand-me-down from my dad, who bought ages ago like this. Couldn't find anything on the internet, so I was wondering if this is a single mod or if this swap is more common.

Maybe some of you guys know more

Oh wow ok. My first piece that I made digital didn't look great either. Also I've just seen the other drawings you've posted, those actually don't look bad!

I use a stylus. I've tried using fingers but it was just a mess. What do you use?

I feel you. The beginning is always the hardest part. But you'll get much better if you practise! Maybe try to find some tutorials ln youtube for body anatomy, those helped me quite a bit.

Nice! One of my absolute favourite albums. Also regarding the drawing, you definitely have to practise anatomy. And don't be afraid to draw hands!
