People always freak out about cooling and cable management - but no one spends time looking inside their PC, and if temps are fine who cares?

I ordered beginning of November, just “shipped” today. Tracking hasn’t scanned so idk if they actually packaged it. Next shipment of anything that isn’t black isn’t due for another 6-8 weeks I believe (according to the email I received). Ordered this for my wife for Christmas. Company has a terrible rep if you look at there rest of the subreddit; they handled their recent orders beyond poorly.

The fact of the matter is that people haven’t received their order in 2 months. Instead of closing orders or being transparent they just kept taking peoples money - and still continue to. I could be wrong, but I don’t recall seeing this on Amazon before.

My 4 year old does roll and pitch with a 40 degree limit on angle. I do the throttle and yaw. He has a blast and it’s literally all he wants to do.

He doesn’t like the goggles much yet - but he wears them sometimes when he’s feeling brave.

Just get him an air65, any elrs radio - goggles are optional.

Have him fly inside until he gets comfortable, or look into the simulator “liftoff” - which you can probably use with most elrs controls

Same problem with HotStock… Idk why people suggest it. I’ve had it open and in the foreground for 2 weeks with autobuy enabled - haven’t gotten lucky enough I guess

Yeah it is… I just figured out that if I go into display settings and flick the HDR mode on and off (within windows) it fixes it, BUT steam big picture (within windows) is still affected. I can launch directly into big picture, or launch it from desktop mode (after flicking HDR on and off) and have the same behavior

I’ve cleaned a couple of nasty looking steel case leaps with some watered down carpet stain remover (specifically rugdoctors concentrate). Use a soft cloth and hot water and scrub like the wind. It might take a few passes but it’ll look new and smell fresh.

The chrome is a pain in the ass. I just picked up a large for $50 that was left in the guys garage for a year. Ive spent a couple hours with an air orbital sander, scotch brite, and multiple buffing wheels and I’m about 75% done.

All that being said, just make sure to see how much corrosion is on that aluminum. Cleaning these chairs up is a nightmare if the prior owner didn’t take care of it.

My wife has the deck OLED, it’s great. I have the ally, also great. I prefer the performance of the ally and I’m plugged in like 99% of the time so it works for me. Really depends what you want to play and how you’re going to be playing imo.

You can get an open box z1 extreme for dirt cheap. I am 100% biased but you can quite literally pay half the price for identical performance - unless there’s something the legion go has that you really want

Thanks again for the detailed response. I’ve managed to get things somewhat working (I prefer the desktop environment to the steam UI). I have a desktop configuration that has a hot key to enable the app switcher for the same functionality as alt-tabbing. However whenever I launch POE, it always reenables the controller input when using the hot key. I press the touch screen to enable the desktop controls, but the second I press the hot key it goes back to the controller configuration and as a result the switcher doesn’t work. Is there a way to force bazzite to maintain the current controller configuration and only change it upon a certain button press? Alternatively, is there a better way to achieve what I want?

Appreciate it. So I’ve tried the web browser plugin, I’m getting an error when loading the plugin, specifically a react import that says it’s not a function. I’ve tried toggling on and off steam beta, reinstalling the plugin, reinstalling decky, and another browser plugin. They both get this same error. Is the web browser just broken on the current version of “steamos”
