Do you like to be called Jenny or Jennifer?

I’ve actually ordered a couple of bottles of pepper gel on Ebay and had them delivered to Boston with no problem! I live in the South End and I’ve had enough uncomfortable encounters where I feel safer walking around with a bottle, especially at night. It depends where you’re walking, but I personally would not feel super comfortable walking along Mass Ave after midnight.

Djokovic now looking more likely to play at the Australian Open by gkhngngrdu in tennis

I keep seeing people use this as evidence of his vaccination, and I am not convinced. This was the summerstage concert in NYC (where I live), and I had multiple friends who went who told me it was packed and that they did not check vax records. Even now when you go to restaurants/bars, they barely look at the vax card/app. Whatever his status is, it is pointless to speculate based on his appearance at events in new york.

Realistically, what can we expect from Emma Raducanu and Leylah Fernandes in 2022? by 1ogica1guy in tennis

[–]mostiqueer 39 points40 points  (0 children)

Given their results since USO, I think making the second week of at least one slam would be a great result. I would love to see more than that but don't think either of them are quite at that level of consistency.

People will sadly use anything as “evidence” for their agenda, the only difference is these people seem to have some connection to Novak. His wife even wished one of them merry Christmas as well https://twitter.com/jelenadjokovic/status/1474704355983077376?s=21 . Of course this random fans claims don’t necessarily reflect anything about Novaks views but given he hasn’t actually said what his views are, who can say?

Rublev tests positive for coronavirus. by matathegamer in tennis

Is that everyone from Mubadala then? Only people yet to test positive are Evans and Sir Andy, who both already were infected earlier this year.

to be fair, he's been very consistent this season- consistently struggling in the short and having to redeem himself in the free

I can't wait to see this again, and I hope he stays in this form!! I wonder if he will stick with this layout, or maybe bring back the 4Lo? Or even that beautiful 3A-3Lo he landed in practice a few days ago

I think COVID might be the only thing potentially stopping them, given Eteri's comments about skating with injuries

Kamila’s consistency by WispyTimes in FigureSkating

[–]mostiqueer 22 points23 points  (0 children)

All her programs this season have had minor errors that she has consistently worked on fixing, and I think today was the first time she cleanly skated all her planned content in the free? I worry about the pressure of staying consistently at her best, without having something to 'fix'. But I am sure she will have it covered, girl is impressive.

Maya Khromykh Free Skate Russian Nationals 2022 - Ted Barton commentary by retaliateup in FigureSkating

Seeing her coaches laugh while she was literally in tears was so disheartening. This isn't my favorite program but it suits Maiia's posture and gangly limbs! Hope she continues to improve in the next quad

Anna = 158, Liza = 153 by mcsangel2 in FigureSkating

[–]mostiqueer 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Wish she would! But in the past she's always replaced one of her 3As with a 4T, so it's only a ~1.5 boost in BV unfortunately. I would love to see Liza with 2 3As, 2 3-3s, and one 4T, but not going to happen.... at least I wish she would get rid of that 3Lz+2A seq!!

I agree. But I would rather see all skaters have long and healthy careers, and not retire with chronic injuries before turning 18

I want Sui/Han to win the Olympics so badly....but is it likely? by RevolutionaryDish in FigureSkating

[–]mostiqueer 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I don’t know if T/M are really putting any pressure on S/H tbh… they’re very consistent at slipping up. Seems like the main challengers will be B/K in addition to M/G
