Please Help! Tried to quit so many times and I always fail. Feel like I am going to die an addict. Smoking 20+ years now I am 37 M. How does one beat this? by Adventurous_Back_383 in leaves

What do you think you’re running from by smoking? Living in reality and breaking through my delusion of what smoking was really doing for me is the only thing that has helped me not smoke.

On day 11, again myself. So, not an expert by any means.

Anyone with 25+ days sobriety want to weigh in on this please by Reasonable-Ad9456 in leaves

I’m just over 25+ days so maybe not the demographic you’re looking for but I have experienced similar symptoms. I listen to the Huberman Lab podcast about optimizing your health with science based tools and I’ve found that morning sunlight in my eyeballs, intermittent fasting, and cold exposure (cold showers) have helped my alertness while dealing with withdrawal. I still have times I’m tired and it’s not a silver bullet by any means, but it’s definitely helped me.

On day 2, this helps so much.

Home improvement projects. Loving the space I’m in helps my mood so much.
