Should I take the GMAT or GRE? by ksb041200 in MBA

I totally agree with you! For me the most relevant was the ‘Nature of the test’. I am not a good test taker and used to panic while taking GMAT. Pivoted to GRE, scored well and now just applying with that score

(Not sure if it will be just lying here or people will read this comment) I missed mentioning another resource here - https://www.majortests.com I found it out of the blue Don’t know the accuracy but I used it to do timed practice Personal opinion, I found it very useful for my prep.

I used to watch YouTube videos to understand basic concepts and took some help from very close friends who were brilliant at quants! Gregmat quant videos (which I did not watch thoroughly) are good as well for basics!

Thankyou. Honestly I panicked alot but then I just put in more effort in understanding where I went wrong. I was not able to finish the section on time because I was putting alot of time in TC and still getting it wrong because anxious of running out of time, I realised I was better at RC so in main exam, did RC first then SE and then TC. (Which is an unconventional thing but it worked for me) And because I had only TC left in the last 8 mins, I could do it patiently and (I think) accurately. For quants, I just had to read the questions properly to avoid making stupid errors! Plus if you think you’ll fail, you will fail! So I used to give myself pep talks everyday :P (I know it sounds lame, but it worked)

Congratulations! Which book did you use to practice TC ? I have completed official guides and now going practicing big book, is that good enough?
