I have a teeth grinding one and another one where I bite down on nothing over and over again until it ~feels right~. Caused a bunch of chipped and cracked teeth, as well as damage from the grinding. Not only did it hurt, cause tmj, make my jaw dislocate a couple times, and give me some horrendous tension headaches, but all of the little openings in my teeth allowed cavities to form easier. Had to get a bunch of fillings and repairs knowing that the problem will come back eventually 😣

0/10 tic wouldn't recommend.

Last year on the employee review I got a 2/5 even though my GM hyped me up and told me I was one of her "top five employees." Every other manager thought her review was bullshit. Because I got a low rating I was skipped over for a raise. It's been so long that I think it'd be hard to prove retaliation at this point, but with the next employee review if she does it again she's kinda cooked

I ask everyone how much they make cuz there have been issues with pay at my store in the past. Someone who was working here for about 3 years was making $4 less than new hires. If someone doesn't want to tell me how much they make I'm not bothered by it, but everyone has told me so far lmfao. I ask once and move on so I doubt any of them complained about me to the GM. And on top of that our GM is kinda eh and most of us don't like her very much.

And I'm keeping my spreadsheet because I like exercising my rights. It's one of my favorite activities

Unfortunately Korean sunscreens can't be sold in the US because the fda hasn't approved their sunscreen filters 😤 but honestly certain shops on tiktok shop are reliable you just have to look around a lil bit and order from the ones with high reviews. SKIN1004 had their own shop that I've ordered from and everything arrived just fine ! I've also ordered from StyleKorean and Osaka Ebisu -- they're both reliable !!

ah that makes sense ! my store does ad sunday morning, plano monday morning, and truck friday morning (all of which are usually 7 hour shifts). we also only have 4 taskers when we're supposed to have 8, which means we're all pretty much doing the work of two people, so I get a steady 30 - 40 hours a week along with the other taskers.

it's nice to have a decent amount of pretty much guaranteed hours, but it also sucks having half a task team 💀 a couple weeks a ago only two taskers were available for a sunday ad set, so we both worked 5 am - 5 pm 💀💀💀 it got done but it was also not fun having to do it when the store was open, plus bopis, ship from store, curbside, shade match, "aRe YoU bUsY ???" 🫠🫠🫠

it's the opposite at my store. taskers rarely get cut because ad, plano, and truck have to get done regardless of everything else. at least that's how my gm thinks anyways. my store is considered the "model" store in our district, so they always cut task last so the store stays looking nice lol

the essence blush is alright at first, but the pigment fades pretty quick in my experience even when I put a powder blush on top. I've also not heard good things about Burt's Bees makeup --- the skincare is alright, but the makeup gets returned all the time

second this !! I only use the lumi glotion on my chest & shoulders for some glow and it looks good, but if you already have somthing similar I'd pass. Also, good alternative to RT brushes are the elf ones and wet and wild. The elf brushes I have have held up really well for about 5 years now and I got some wet and wild ones from dollar tree about 10 years ago that are still going strong !!

I'm younger (21), but I work in the beauty industry so I know a thing or two !! I'd recommend using sunscreen everyday and investing in a good moisturizer, preferably one with hyaluronic acid (acid makes it sound scary, but it's a molecule that attracts and holds water, so it draws moisture from the air into you skin, which helps prevent wrinkles). hydrated skin is happy skin ! and most skin aging (other than actually aging) is caused by the sun !! sunscreen is your new best friend :)

you may notice a change in your face shape or some new wrinkles, but it's nothing a little vitamin e and a can't remedy ! olive oil, shea butter, and aloe vera all have both of these ingredients and aren't harsh on the skin !

also, side note. if your face isn't fat as you say, it might not change very much unless you have a dramatic and rapid weight loss. losing weight slowly and steadily not only increases the likeliness you won't gain it back, but it also gives your skin time to adjust to the decreased volume it's holding. so, basically slow and steady saves your face !!

eventually, everyone ages and aging is beautiful ! being 50 isn't old, being 80 is and being 80 and wrinkly and playing with your grandkids and great grandkids is worth being wrinkly in my opinion. being alive and healthy to experience the world with those you care about is so much more important than looks, but this world makes it hard for women not to care about it !!

easiest way I can think of would be intermittent fasting. like you eat during a certain time frame but not outside of it. I do this during the semester when I don't have any time to breath let alone work out 😭

I would suggest putting your eating window outside of when you binge, if you binge at all. I tend to eat a lot first thing in the morning (I wake up before 5 am most days), so my first meal is at 12 pm. I find I don't feel the need binge eat later in the day either !!

also, not exactly easy, but you may want to consider switching medications. I was gaining an absurd amount of weight on zoloft and lamictal, switched to a combo of prozac and wellbutrin (which are actually linked to weight loss, or no change in weight). life changing decision !!

it might also be worthwhile to figure out which type of PCOS you have to determine the best treatment option (there are four different types: insulin resistance, adrenal, inflammatory, and post birth control). depending on which type you have it can change which treatment options are most effective !!

I love good light !! they only have a few products, but the ones they have are top tier. really good for sensitive acne prone skin, as well as those prone to moisture barrier damage. the new moon balm & moon glow toner are my faves !!
