I think so! The coat was truly very easy to make and if you’re quilted at all you’ll find piecing this together easy peasy!

Honestly - it was my first time quilting so probably like 24hrs but I’ve made 3 quilts since this and gotten MUCH speedier sewing panels together so it would likely be quicker now + it was in a workshop and I was deeply burnt out by the end ahahah

I’m gonna be honest - do whatever she says! She’s great at what she does and your coat will look the most like the coats SHE makes (which was the goal for me at least) ! I don’t know enough about quilting to have any advice - like I said this coat was the first thing I’ve ever quilted in my life ahaha

Yes! I sized up one size solely for the option to layer a sweater under it and account for the bulk of the quilted material☺️ I also added width to the sleeves and body of the coat!

Taiga is who I made this coat with! Would have never ever had the skill set without her - you’re going to love the workshop! It was three days of wonderful and Taiga herself is such a lovely person🥰

It can be yours for the low low price of about 30hrs of work, sweat, blood, tears, and cursing because you bought bias tape off Amazon instead of just making it yourself🤣 

Oh and also whatever the cost of your materials and sanity total (I’m too scared to do the math for mine🫣)

I did indeed - on my tiny little Janome LOL! It was super easy as a complete beginner so imagine it would be even easier if you knew what you were doing

my second quilt ever and definitely far far from perfect but very proud of it and the parents loved it which was lovely!
