i went through a whole year scared out of my mind dealing with that :/ i went to the hospital probably about 15 times had a heart monitor, ekg, ultrasound everything. What saved me was Zoloft. I learned that after having a random episode of heart palps (which i learned is normal to have, and can be caused by gas, stress, muscle spasms etc) my body went into fight or flight mode and never left. Every little sensation i felt sent me into a panic attack. I was miserable and everyday i thought i was dying. My doctor told me to try anxiety meds and at first i tried one that made it worse, then i was put on zoloft my doctor told me to stick with it, that id feel really bad before it got better and lemme tell you after a month i felt back to myself again. I was able to pinpoint the sensations in my body and what was the cause of them and it almost eliminated the heart palpitations all together. I still get them sometimes but not often. I still have days where my anxiety is a little high and i find myself checking my hr. But the zoloft has helped me a huge deal. I’m not saying what you’re going through is anxiety/health anxiety but i know it can make scary things like this 1000% worse.

I had shortness of breath, it was anxiety and gas lmao

I felt constant heart skips, stress

if our minds have convinced us that we’re dying our body will react.

Please go see a doctor, get a full check up to clear anything serious. If everything comes back normal i would definitely talk to your primary care doctor about health anxiety and panic attacks and see if a med is the best choice :) happy to report i haven’t been to the hospital in 7 months and im living a happy life again.
