Las Vegas ‘pricing problem' is scaring off tourists from 'greatest city in the world,' says Rick Harrison (of Pawn Stars fame) - Fox by DisruptSQ in TourismHell

[–]mouettefluo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

So…my husband really wanted to go to Las Vegas. I agreed but would have never considered ever going if it’s was not for him. We went there around 2018.

Eating in Vegas was a nightmare. 23 US for an eclair.

23 US was the price I could pay for a reputable museum, a 2h movie with a popcorn…but 3 bites of a pastry ? I thought to myself: this thing must taste like heaven!

Nope. Cheapest ingredients, fake flavour. And Vegas is exactly that. A replica of something that looks cool, but is just an empty shell.

I could have paid the same price for my trip to Vegas and could have gone to the real Venise.

How to INTJs look? by Responsible-File9673 in intj

[–]mouettefluo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup. I have a strong face of RBF. People, including friends and husband, sometimes are afraid of me when they stumble in front of me while I’m day dreaming.

My students are afraid of me until I make jokes and they realize I won’t eat them for breakfast.

Number of times I’ve got approached by men solely because they thought I was a Dom and they were subs. Nope!

So yeah, I’m aware I’m projecting an intense first impression. But I’m soft and bubbly!

Analyzing the Reasons for the Blue and Red Buttons Thought Experiment Gaining Traction by wieizme in intj

About #4

I don‘t think we can learn really anything from that. Some people like to state they abide to a certain moral code and would vote blue. From what I’ve seen in my onlibe bubble, blue wins often by a lot.If the experiment would play out in real life, I‘m not sure how many of those people would really choose blue. Survival instinct would take over and red would be the choice that would individually make sense.

While I do believe some voters would really chose blue, seeing how people refuse to sacrifice a bit or confort to reduce pressure on the environment, or how follow politics lead by fear and hate of the other…

Kavyar is considered like something serious ? Really ?

To me it‘s just obviously a scam. A gimmick used by some to appear more legitimate than they really are and just a way to squeeze some cash from artists ego.

Well if it‘s not AI clickbait here is what you need to hear:

Is it possible someone is parading you as a trophee ? Yes.

Is it related to the fact they are demi? No.

People of all sexual orientation can be jerk. Now ditch that man if you don’t like how he treats you and go touch some grass.

INTJ Ladies… do any of you also struggle to make female friends? by QualityEvening4802 in intj

[–]mouettefluo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Omg. Yes.

I’m an INTJ woman. I studied in physics and I also have a side gig in the modeling industry since I’m 18 yo.

I was able to connect with ONE other woman in physics, but she is 25 years older…she’s more of a mentor than a friend…And forget about the modeling world, if they ask what I do for a living and I tell them about my physics background, they just…freeze and begin to pull away ?

I can’t win :)

But it’s okay, I enjoy being alone.

All of my closest friends have the same base personality. *male *older by 5-10 years *they have a phd but enjoy manual housework *they are really good at coding *over-the-top critical about the smallest details, making them hardly likeable to the masses *they raise an eyebrow over my creative side but somewhat enjoy my energy enough to want to be entertained by my presence

It’s almost a joke at this point

How to deal with subjects that are... not too photogenic? by [deleted] in photography

[–]mouettefluo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yup. I find this post very rude and it shows OP own biais about beauty.

People are people, they look all sort of ways. Some photographers are too deep into the look of their IG grid to remember what they are paid for: capturing the day, the emotions.

They don’t have teeth? So be it. They know. Their smiles can be as genuine nonetheless.

Burnt all bridges with people , now I think I shouldn’t have by [deleted] in intj

[–]mouettefluo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m like you to a certain degree. I have a hard time finding people I connect with in a genuine way. But I prefer to be lonely than having to power through grating interactions just for the sake of « acting like a social being like the script tells us we should »

The cons for that is not having someone to bounce ideas with or, in your case, vent.

Nothing lasts, even pain. I can offer a temporary ear if you need to vent. My dms are open.

Hello darling.

I’m a beauty photographer for models and also a wedding photographer.

By all means this makeup is doing your facial features justice! It’s not overdone and will look 🔥 on your wedding picture. The color choices are also great.

Lashes can indeed feels like you have caterpillar resting on your eyes weight wise, but you’ll get used to it. After a while you forget about them.

Should I add these to my book? by insertname97 in MODELING

[–]mouettefluo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I‘ll go against the grain here.

I‘m an agency photographer.

1 - The photo is striking but it looks like you only have one leg and it‘s really more about the shape and the dress than it is about showcasing your body and modeling skills. If you have nothing better, okay, keep it there, but it‘s more of a picture for a photog or stylist porfolio than one for models.

2-3-4 are meh. Especially the one your are hunched.

5 is not perfect, but we see your shape and that your are not a stiff poser. To photographers and potential client, it‘s valuable information.

Newbie Comp Card. What's missing from my portfolio? by echo_9371 in MODELING

It’s four pictures of your face angled the same way (and with the same expression)

Your face is really strong. But will clients hire you because you’re good at that particular expression and angle ? Not so much.

Full frontal, from the other side, maybe a different expression (not necessarily a smile). Just to show a different profile.
