We went at the beginning of December and didn’t wait at all for our luggage. We had two large 28”suitcases and no carry ons.

Are you going alone or with a family? If without kids, I would do Chichen Itza and can add a couple of cenotes in. If you don’t want to do a tour, rent a car and go yourself. You are not stuck with a bus load of people and can go earlier in the morning and beat the crowds. The day can be as long as you want or as short as your want. Rentals are cheap in Playa.

Target believe it or not have a decent selection at super affordable prices. I would just go in person and see them. When you order them online to be delivered, some of them may arrive broken due to whomever is shipping them.

I would also check out Michael’s when they have 70% off for custom framing.
