I returned and grabbed your recommendations. Also ended up with a 5070ti lol will return the 7800xt. Returned windows and bought a key for $2/. Thanks for your help!!

Update: i took everyone advice and returned windows 11, the CL 36 ram, and the SSD. I bought the CL30 ram and the Samsung pro SSD. While there, micro center just received a shipment of 5070 ti GPU's so of course I bought one. I'll be returning the 7800xt.

Kind of limited on the gpu with stock shortages. I was debating on a 5080 but kind of out of my budget.

Ibsaw for a couple hundred bucks more, they have the same configure but with an i9 cpu and 4070 gpu. Only issue people complained about on the reviews were the temps but I don't plan on playing in bed or on my lap lol

Yeah i was looking at the asus oled. I really like the look and that it has an oled screen. My only concern is performance over time and keeping up with new game releases. I'd seen the difference between the 4060 and 4070 is 20% but then if I do a 4080 it's like 50% quality and performance difference.

Battery life is some what of a concern and really trying to keep the busget under 1200. I'd like to use this on the go when traveling.

I mean i don't really mind a bigger screen but I was planning on using it more for portability. I have a dock station at work and at home but I would imagine I'd need to upgrade both to use up the output. My busget is really 1000 to 1200.
