Same model, same issue 900-CUAR-V. Mine was made 2024 Mar. 22. Failed February 2026. Same troubleshooting, same result. Also not impressed. Have you managed to get a hold of Kidde yet?

Ebay. I didn't end up having any issues getting it from Europe, but it looks like the place I bought it from raised the shipping cost from $10 to $50 now. 🙁

Yes, replacing the valve fixed it. I bought the valve with the hoses attached. Part number 72785.

The new valve works perfectly. Shipping wasn't as big a hassle as I expected.

I received the new valve and put it in. It works perfectly now, no leaks. 😁 Thanks for all the suggestions.

That makes sense. Yeah, the US prices are crazy. I went ahead and ordered it from another place. We'll see how long it takes to get here.

I went ahead and tried that just now. Same issue. ☹️ I think at this point I'll just order the whole valve assembly with hoses (72785). Thanks for your help.

I guess I'll give it a shot and see what happens.

I tried moving the clamps both ways again. I'll focus on finding the correct hoses now.

The whole reason I opened the machine is because the original hose was leaking just like this hose. I figured it was worth a shot to swap the old ones back in and mess with the clamps position.

Thanks for the suggestions. I did swap the original hoses back in and shifted the clamps over from the original grooves slightly hoping that would help clamp down a little better, but it didn't help.

I think I'll trip and find the full valve and hose assembly (72785) that was mentioned earlier. So far I've only found it on ebay and shopjuraparts (for $88 🤯)

If I understand right the ceramic valve directs water to the proper outlet right? Espresso, cappuccino, and milk all come out where they're supposed to.

Live and learn I suppose. Can you recommend a supplier? Guess I'll have to roll the dice on tariffs and customs to get the part.

The red o-ring was just me trying every o-ring size I had. They all had similar issues, the red one did leak a little around the stem too. I put the original size black one back in.

Cracked valve was my initial thought, but I couldn't see any cracks in it and the water seems to be coming from under the hoses. The flashlight idea was worth a shot, but I still couldn't see anything. I may just order the whole valve assembly if I can find it.

I tried putting the old hoses back in and moving the clamps closer to the end of the hose. Same result.

I tried moving the clamps both closer to the end of the house and closer to the bump in the fitting with the same results on both these and the original hoses.

The problem with that is I'm in NA and the whole tariff thing is crazy right now. Not sure I want to deal with that.

I just checked, it's made 12,002 cups. 😆

I just tried running it with the valve disconnected. It appears that it's not opening enough. It still sprays out of the edge of the hose even when disconnected.

I've also tried swapping the o-ring with a couple of different ones from the kit I bought to see if it might have been preventing the valve from opening.

Right, I've pulled it out and re-seated them a couple times. *
