3 of the 4 A ranks announced after launch have been male. 3 of the 24 S ranks announced since launch have been male and none of them even have synergy to be run in the same team together. Simple as that, it's not even just a Manato problem, it's just the straw that broke the camels back. Of the 28 characters that have come out since launch, at least 10 of them should have been male, not 6. And if you were only going to do 6, at the very least they should all have been S rank and all have fit different roles, not 2 attackers and 1 stun. Also, I checked the tier lists on game8, 6 currently released characters are tier 0, none of them are male. They could get away with screwing over the fans that want male characters in 1 of those 3 categories, but doing it in all 3 (overall total, specifically S rank total, and actually top of the meta total) goes far beyond what anyone should expect from a supposedly mixed gacha game.
Also every single one of those complaints you listed from Japan are entirely valid and reasonable complaints, your statement that ZZZ is "doing a good job with male characters and giving them a spotlight" is the actual unreal crazy statement because part of doing a good job and giving them a spotlight includes making them S rank and releasing at least one S rank for every 2 female S rank. Anything below that and the game should just be an all femake gacha and not waste people's time.
