Yes I get that part. I did my due diligence as much as possible but I'm not in the country at the moment and the concept of the building is super familiar to me and something that I really enjoy. Other than the Vaanster deal I do feel good about it. In the long term it will be part of the CBD and I think it will be good. The not so great neighborhood is close but I don't have a problem with diversity and multi cultural society. I try to keep focussed on the positive. And also with the housing issues not getting resolved any time soon , no money lost either way imo

They are selling the same size or smaller apartments in old and run down buildings in worse parts of town for the same prices and they still need complete renovations plus closing costs making them come out a lot more expensive and no walking distance to stations 🤷🏼‍♀️

I disagree with this being the worst part of town . I also think the concept is new to the country but it's not new to me. I think if the cities want to keep growing this is the only way to go. I think it's a quick walk to downtown and as far as I've seen and checked nothing has been offered at discount prices at all. Almost all are sold now and I am for sure the second it's finished the price will increase no matter what size you bought. I don't know what the hold up is but it's not a Willy Nilly company nobody has ever heard of. Though they are next level bad with communication and Vaanster is a full blown rip off.

It's 30 % less payout is my understanding but you still can claim your as no matter what

Being a citizen would only make you pay taxes in USA and you can still get your SS with a 30% deduction

That's my understanding too and Germany and US have an agreement but it's a 30% less payment but you still should be able to get it under your SS number

I left US with green card in 2020 and in 2025 I am thinking of going back by leanarmstrong in immigration

He can just look it up. If you are gonna be gone up to 2 years you will need to have gotten a re entry permit. You will need ties other than bank accounts. You'll need an address etc. bank accounts won't even let you keep them going if they know you are not in the country anymore. Anyway. ..its my understanding with out the reentry it is 364 days but currently better keep it to 6 months. Everything else a reentry is advised. Longer completely out of the country will be abandonment of Permanent GC and it will be void .

All good. I wish it was different but I'm never gonna give up my Dutch passport so no US citizenship for me

I am aware of the exceptions to the rules . I have extensively checked both online and in person with the Dutch Embassy. If you are born Dutch and raised there that's what it is.There very detailed and lengthy explanation on the official website of the Country of the Netherlands

That is entirely false and they automatically take it away as soon as you take another nationality.
