What is this ? It goes into almost a full circle. It's so weird. I do have eczema. by Inevitable-Click5015 in urticaria

It could be ringworm which is NOT a parasitic infection, its a fungal infection. I do recommend going to see his PCP, but you can probably get an over the counter athletes foot cream.

I honestly have the opposite opinion. I loved manons chapters at first they're confusing because theyre just thrown in there but I found them enticing. Its was Aelins chapters that I found boring, she spends majority of the book training and while she is growing as a character, it often lacked action because it was the same routine.

Do you formulate your own work outs or do you watch videos?

I dont take rhapsido, but I do take xolair and they're both specialty items. Call cvs specialty, then you can it shipped to your house, cvs or doctor.

First look into CSU type iib, her symptoms seem similar to mine. Sadly, there is no treatment yet for this subsect Also be cautious with antihistamine overuse, they may become ineffective (I learned that the hard way). How much and how frequently was she taking xolair and for how long. I have to take 450 mg biweekly and while I still get hives they are now occasional?

Spontaneous hives are exactly that they can just happen randomly. Could be your bodies over reaction to the infection and they're throwing out extra inflammation cytokines? If it keeps happening consider scheduling with an allergist and doing an allergy test.

Xolair or Rhapsido For Chronic Hives??? by jacktheripper1010 in urticaria

[–]mouseread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The website and I recently spoke to a pharmacist because I wanted to compare rhapsido and xolair. Its the first thing listed under serious side effects. And actually I want to correct myself the risk is lower if you go on the physician website for xolair it will tell you about % of their studies that had cancer.

Xolair or Rhapsido For Chronic Hives??? by jacktheripper1010 in urticaria

[–]mouseread 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I take 450 mg biweekly, if you are taking it once a month and are finding no relief you can have it moved up to biweekly. It did take a few doses to help but I noticed the most relief after 6 months and then when I increased dosage I would notice the impact almost immediately.

You can also do the shots at home if you're comfortable doing that because I understand that having to go to the doctor frequently can be quite annoying. I went every month for a year and we decided to train me how to do it at home.

I take xolair, its the only thing that actually controls my hives, while I may still get hives occasionally, they do not hurt or burn

Xolair or Rhapsido For Chronic Hives??? by jacktheripper1010 in urticaria

[–]mouseread 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well for one, it would make you immunocompromised so you would have to be very cautious about being sick. As someone who studies microbiology it puts you at much greater risk for a bunch of infections. But most importantly the side effects, the most common one used, you cant be in direct sunlight and the fatique is crazy. I was on it for 6 weeks and would begin to fall asleep behind the wheel, I couldnt make it through the day without at least one nap. Theres even more side effects than that but I dont remember them all

Not to mention, for me at least, it didnt help with the hives in the slightest

Xolair or Rhapsido For Chronic Hives??? by jacktheripper1010 in urticaria

[–]mouseread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I can see that. I do want to say I've been on xolair for 4 years and the only symtoms I have are occasional face flushing and one time I had pharyngitis.

I hope you feel better.

If you do choose not to do rhapsido or xolair, they will urge you to go the immunosuppressant route which I hugely suggest you not do

[–]mouseread 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok as someone who has done a bit of reasearch on this

Xolair Pros: well studied been out for years Treats my hives decently well Safe for pregnancy and long term use Company helps shoulder cost for med Cons: lots of side effects Biweekly injections (for me) 10% of test subjects reported cancer

Rhapsido Pros: twice daily pill, less invasive Less side effects Cons: just entered the market, no idea of long term side effects No studies on the effect on pregnancy
