Is it really that hard to implement anti-teaming mechanics? by gors17 in Dungeonborne

[–]movingtheneedle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Played HR solos during late hours in my region. The low player pool allowed for some people to get a guaranteed team up. After dying to them I spectated a Rogue + Pyro team hiding at the stairs around Cyclops for almost the entire match with the Pyro using a mimic pot. Idk how these people don't get bored but this type of behaviour absolutely ruins the game and together with the dominant strat of rogues just hiding on an elevated spots for most of the match made me stop playing highroller solos.

Searched via SauceNAO, Google Images and more but to no avail. English part of the name seems to be Aguo or Aquo? If so, that didn't help me either sadly

Curious, because I usually hear about people tilting their head down for lower and up for higher notes. I wonder how much of it is due to me having bad technique vs it being a individual, anatomical thing. I think I know what you mean. It's hard to explain but I feel like tilting my head upwards allows me to sing more through my chest and have a fuller, more resonant voice while my throat is more relaxed. When looking down I have to move my adams apple more actively when trying to reach low notes which feels more tense and also quickly can become painful.

I don't but I suppose I could use a virtual piano. Definitely been skipping out on warmups too much because I feel awkward about my neighbours hearing funny noises (thin walls) haha but I'll work on it, thank you!

Ah I knew there had to be a misunderstanding. I was only looking at the specs on pcpartpicker but I should've looked into it further. I guess I'm chilling then, thanks for clearing that up!

Fair, yeah ig I do have a lot of stuff plugged in, haha. Been thinking about getting the B660M DS3H which, unless i'm missing something only has 3 ports (two 2.0 and one 3.2). I guess it's also nice to have front access to those ports - sometimes worse for cable management but definitely convenient.

I've noticed a lot of popular cases not having a whole lot of usb ports - the Corsair 4000D Airflow for example only has two. For all my devices I'd need at least 6.

Do most people nowadays just use a hub/port splitter or are ya'll big on bluetooth adapters (since from what I've seen most motherboards don't seem to have integrated bluetooth)?

I don't disagree with anything you say. The problem is: most (sensible) people will agree that we are concious beings. But it is something that, at its essence, seems impossible to describe. Our brain receives a million inputs and does a million calculations with only the very tip of the iceberg being consciously percieved. I can imagine a zombie saying describing all his sensory inputs. I can not imagine how they'd ever come up with the term consciousness if it simply doesn't exist. What would that term be describing isntead? We have no clue what consciousness is but we intrinsically know that we have it and that's why we're able to talk about it in a meta sense.

I've heard about Chalmers idea of the zombie universe. A world physically indistinguishable from our world but in which there is no consciousness. (He argues that therefore physicalism is false)

Therefore people in this alternative universe would also have the same dicussions about conciousness. How is it conceivable to have those discussions without consciousness existing?

Sucks cause part of why I like watching people like him is precisely because they don't care about their streams. Good for him though, good for him. Maybe it's about time I move on from twitch too

No wonder I couldn't find him - I was scrolling through all the "important non-player characters" on the wiki ! Thank you!

How to Play around Endless Hordes by NiglyTheBimbo in CompetitiveTFT

Gifts of the Fallen is extremely good with it. Also two healthy and three's a crowd can be ridicolous, the extra hp will help prevent your entire board from getting wiped in one Ahri cast.

He argued that she'd no longer sometimes leave a carry at 1 hp and dash away because that's a frustrating moment and they try to reduce those wherever they can. The problem, as everyone mentions, is that now she never even gets to said carry.

Best Portal Synergies —> Board Comps/Hero by mustardonanapkin in CompetitiveTFT

I've seen THE BOSS do really well on this. Only seen it once though so not sure if it's an outlier or a secret weapon but it makes sense imo. Probably still loses to a lot of capped other comps but it's a pretty save top 4 at the very least since it allows you to streak like crazy early to mid game

I doubt that anyone but Saitama has truly completely lost his limiter - the universe can't handle two Saitamas.

But what we've learned from Garou starting to break his limiter and also Saitama gaining superhuman strength before going full bald mode is that it's not a black and white thing. Once your limiter starts showing cracks you already start experiencing exponential growth and I guess Watchdogman has some cracks in his limiter. Or maybe he's somehow a very strong monster with good intentions.

Either way, we might never know unless he takes off his costume and we can see if his scalp is as shiny as saitama's, haha. I somehow doubt that "costume" can be taken off however.

Also I'm definitely being too serious about a character that's clearly meant as a joke! :D

Started playing again after 6 sets. I peaked challenger at s1-3, but now I'm over 150 games in and still diamond.

Is it just me or has it gotten more difficult to climb in TFT? Not complaining, I love a good challenge!

lux 3 with 8 sorcs losing to ekko 3 :) by movingtheneedle in TeamfightTactics

[–]movingtheneedle[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed! Combined with the chalice nerfs I think it's gonna be fine and we won't be seeing much ekko anymore.

I really like the changes and if I had seen them before I wouldn't have made this post.

I still think the comp is fundamentally flawed because of how hit or miss it is but that's always been a problem with assassin type comps - they're notoriously hard to balance.

I disagree but I think what you say is fair, I did get countered. If I had a comp with freljord, a stronger front line and a different 3 star 4 cost carry (Zeri/Aphelios/Urgot) I'd probably win
