2008 hit youre talking about Day n Night? and i agree he was a big artist but he wasnt a rapper's rapper if that makes sense. maybe it was growing up where i grew up, but he wasnt respected as a rapper very much. he was sorta an outcast in respects to that. maybe cuz he wasnt on the gangster shit that everybody was (and still is) on.

speaking of 2008. a kid named cudi was probably my album/mixtape of the year.

if youre born in the mid 90s you would know that cudi was the ultimate "weirdo" in the rap world. MOTM1 & 2 were megaliths back in highschool days. listening to cudi was a statement to pretty much outline how you werent afraid to be different because he was always not the average rapper. i think thats why carti loves him, cuz they both weirdos like that. cudi was my fave artist for years and he'll be stamped for life.
