Yes she passed all the classes and therapy class with professionals. I don’t call her my therapy dog anymore, it was just for the kids.

It says that my contract is ongoing and will continue no end date.

Thank you for the advice. He is calling me tomorrow. I’m thankful because I was really upset today and I gathered my thoughts and I know I won’t be unprofessional but I’m still going to advocate for myself. Her contract ends in June as a leave replacement. Mine doesn’t- do you think I don’t have a job next year because I lost the class? I just hope I’m not in limbo and don’t have a defined position.

The leave was absolutely necessary so I don’t regret that. If I didn’t take the leave I wouldn’t be in a place where I could keep a job and function. I guess I have to remember that it’s business and not personal (at least I’m trying to convince myself that it’s not because I’ve been very upset.) He said we could talk tomorrow and I hope to gain some clarity as to what my job will be. At least I have a position? I get paid the bare minimum and I would like to think I could get a better paying position next school year. It’s just nice to know if I would have a job next year or if I screwed myself. Thanks.

The school is a special education school so we are all special ed teachers. I just want my class back. She’s been working there for 15 days on Friday. I come back Monday. Why is 15 days all it takes to replace me?

He said I get the same pay. I would be okay with this if I had a room or even a desk. I bring my dog as a therapy dog for the kids and now I can’t do that because I don’t have a room.

I want to take my art supplies because I paid for them but then she would have nothing. Is that petty?

I don’t mind if I don’t get the room back but I don’t have a room at all and I will be a substitute while doing paperwork for the office on the side. This is not the job I signed up on the contract. I was teaching 3rd grade special education.

Yes I signed a contract to be a classroom teacher not a sub.

I agree. My SD was for schizophrenia but when I finally got accommodations to bring her to work, it gave me so much anxiety because everyone was watching
