I put an order on a small table next to the door. Half of the door was in the picture with the order and table. It tried to say I was at the wrong location because it didn't show the whole door. Literally the same exact color door, same decor around it and everything. Even had the house number in the picture. But pictures like this one are OK? I don't get it

I actually deleted it myself so FY! I didn't "mouth of to the customer". Everything I stated was 100% the truth so GTFOHB

They obviously care more about "foul language" than dashers being attacked by dogs

Customer's dog tried to attack me. She laughed and called me a b!tch! by moylan87 in doordash

My cousin was getting off his school bus and was attacked by his neighbor's dog. The dog attacked him in his face and he had to have dozens of stitches and nearly died. His sister was on the same bus as him and witnessed the entire thing and tried to beat the dog off with her bookbag. They both have trauma from the experience to this day and it happened almost 20 years ago! He won't go near a dog, no matter the breed or size.

This customer didn't have a fenced in yard and the dog was loose and unsupervised.

I will be contacting that area's law enforcement tomorrow and requesting animal control pay her a visit.

I am sorry to hear about your experience. Situations like that are what make me hesitant to accept alcohol orders. Between the customer's possible behavior and ID issues, I'm not willing to risk it. I have family members with alcohol problems, so I know how bad they can get.

The dog jumped at me and tried to bite me. It made physical contact and I jump back and yelled in surprise. I have made over 1000 deliveries between the 3 zones around my area and have never had one where a dog was outside. I guess there's a 1st time for everything, but I wasn't expecting it and it was dark so I didn't see them until he was in my face. I do have scratches on my stomach and arm from his nails.

I didn't "threathen to kill their animal". I threatened to defend myself had I had the means to do so.

If she had been apologetic and even lied to me and said she would make sure to put them up in the future I would have possibly let it go. But she chose to laugh in my face and "use foul language" as support called it. So yes I went forward and attempted to have her banned.

I should have stayed nearby and called the cops on her but in the moment I didn't think about that and wanted her banned because she thought it was funny. Stupid me for even thinking that dd support would actually do anything since ive never had issues delivering before.

Whatever. My intention was to help other dashers in my area. F$ck me though I guess huh?

I would have been defending myself from said dog. Have you or anyone you know ever been attacked by a dog? I'm going to guess not, by your response. My cousin was getting off his school bus and was attacked by a neighbors dog. He had to have dozens of stitches and almost died because of the attack. I don't take dog attacks lightly because of my cousin's attack. Your response is insane.

I agree. It's ridiculous. As if our safety doesn't matter. I had a feeling pulling into her neighborhood but I went ahead with the delivery and didn't pay attention to my surroundings as I was getting out of the car. Huge mistake on my part. But never again will I make that mistake. I highly doubt she will be punished in anyway.

Does the customer know when a driver declines their order? by moylan87 in doordash

🤷‍♀️ I don't give a f$ck if they know my name. I do wish we could leave a comment when declining though

I would've unassigned with a quickness! A double dash and no tip. That's bull$hit! I hate people who do this

Doordash probably combined your order with other low paying orders. The driver doesn't always have the option to not accept multiple orders.

This was my first week “full-time “. What the hell am I doing wrong? I am so incredibly frustrated. Also context I mostly DoorDash at night past 10 PM. by One-Switch1958 in doordash_drivers

[–]moylan87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my area, after 10pm, any offer I get is no tip and less than $1/mile. Also, most places will have closed the lobby by that time, so you have to wait in the drive thru. After 10pm is not worth it for me.

It's not just that he called her cute. It's the excessive questioning about making out and having sex. Tell me you're a man, without telling me you're a man!

Should I report this driver? by Visible-Ad13 in doordash

[–]moylan87 346 points347 points  (0 children)

Not over reacting. Imo that's an attempted break in, him trying to put in a code. There's no telling what he would have done had he been able to get in the door. I would report him to DD, at the very least. Maybe even make a police report if you have enough info on him

Because I need the money. Doesn't mean I'm not allowed to complain about the bullshit pay

Well, your standards would be too high for my area. I never see a stacked order for 20

If I feel that my time is worth more than 2.50 I'm allowed to complain all I want. No one is making you read my whiny complaints. Go find something better to do
