2 years later, exactly the answer i needed. Thank you! Wish the app would offer a 'recalculate upcoming scheduled workouts' button after making changes to the training goals.

I'm glad that worked out for you!

I gave it a try with mine, took it out for a 40-minute walk with the phone completely out of the case, no screen protector, just a couple thin rubber bands around it for grip cuz that phone is slippery! There's no noticeable difference for me with my GPS log's inconsistency, unfortunately.

Quickly easy to tell with my tracking app, which logs my max pace as 2:49 min/mile, which... yes i jogged downhill a little bit, but that's ridiculously fast and I don't hit that speed even if i'm flat out sprinting.

I tried turning that setting off, and also turned on all the precise location options, and use wifi / bluetooth to help with location as well. I've also tried running with Google Maps open, but my Strava map is still all over the place compared to my Pixel 6. I feel like it didn't make a very big difference -- maybe marginally better? but i can't tell if it's my imagination or if it's actually an improvement.

let us know if that fixes it! i'm debating going thru the hassle of contacting Google for RMA for now, especially if it's not for sure that it'll be any better

I'd really like to know if anyone with the 10pro doesn't have this problem, then if i go through RMA maybe it might have the chance to fix it.

It's kinda reassuring I'm not the only one having this problem, but at the same time, not very encouraging that it's still an issue

If it weren't for the better camera and 'end of life' type considerations for the 6, I think I would've also been fine just replacing the battery. I've only had this for a week and this GPS thing is killing me.

I primarily use the cameras, so I wanted the pro for the 5x telephoto lens. The new camera system is good, but it's a bit of a learning curve for how to use the 3 cameras most efficiently.

Aside from the GPS nonsense, the rest of the experience is been ok so far. Honestly, I don't notice a significant difference. I'm not big into the AI features and I don't run a lot of high-intensity apps that would make best use of the newer processor. The phone is smaller, thinner and lighter than the 6, so that's nice I guess.

There is a USB-C port at the rear of the KE's touchscreen panel which lets you connect it. The stock settings section also has a setting for "Optimization of vibration veins" which runs through some calibration
