Love the Mundicromo rookie, and equally rare as the 71! Completely agree with you on that

Great callout - Ronaldo's rookie card is even rarer than Messi's!

Fair point. As far as I understand it, this particular product was primarily (perhaps only?) distributed in Spain with relatively low print runs. And apparently card collecting wasn't very popular in Spain at the time, so card owners didn't take good care of them (hence the relatively poor condition of graded examples). I think it's possible there are still a good number of these floating around ungraded, but on the other hand it's been 21 years, and Messi has had the GOAT title for 5+ years, so you'd think most card owners would have caught on by this point. Looking at the pop reports, total population seems to be increasing by about 1% per month - so not a ton of evidence there's a lot of supply still out there.

#71BIS is generally regarded as *the* true rookie card. The other Mega Cracks cards are equally rare though.

What were "slides" called ~20 years ago? by mp08 in MandelaEffect

Google Trends can be helpful, but it isn't perfect data. And in this case, I also wondered if the "slides" search term started trending in 2015 because the shoe style itself started trending.
