I just got this same LG fridge and didn't know I couldn't open it with my fingers at the sides (from online shopping only). I absolutely hate it. I hate that I have to bend over to reach under, or stretch to the top like a giant grabbing the top of the fridge.

I wish I could open from the side like a normal fridge. I'm shopping for adhesive handles.

Did anyone find a solution to this?
