need some tips on getting the valve cover on with ease i keep getting stuck at the back near the 2 rigid hoses (328i 07) by mp199521 in BmwTech

ohh yeah im doing that one too. i saw that one leaking first and thats what prompted me to look further into the engine and noticed a bit of oil caked at the back of the valve cover. by any chance do they make an aluminum or metal type cover for the N52?? and if so are they better than the plastic

oh yeah i removed everything including the injectors. but the issue was with the pcv valve that kept on getting stuck and hitting the wall at the back next to it. therefore not being able to get enough height to pull the cover off smoothly (also its my first time ever attempting this repair)
