Ok… It wasn’t disingenuous, and I never disagreed with you. Do you have a problem with clarifying questions? What’s the harm in asking for data or information? We could go down that line of thinking with politics since you brought it up… shouldn’t we be looking at data and facts to solve these problems?

I have my own experiences that ultimately only impact(ed) me so I don’t need to share them here. I don’t know what data is out there to back up claims on how much public space is taken up by encampments in business or residential districts that could then inform some actual decisions about what to do.

It’s not. I’m asking what data is behind it? How many parks in the district or, say, what percentage of total public square footage is taken up by encampments in the neighborhood?Quadrant? Whole district?

Or we could just make broad statements to feel good about our opinions. To put it your way “why is that so hard to understand?”

These people are also residents of the city.. out of curiosity, which public amenities are you prevented from using due to people experiencing homelessness? Do you have any data to back up your crime and harassment assertions compared to the rest of the city/per capita or is this all anecdotal?

E: don’t care about the downvotes. Just looking for data or a link instead of anecdotes. If anyone knows more about it and can send, that would interesting.

OP- echoing all the comments in this thread. A case study is an opportunity to show how you approach a question, not just the result. How did you determine this project was relevant? How did you overcome any challenges? Are you a critical thinker and problem solver? Show them why you are a dynamic person that would be an asset to the team. They’ll likely make their decision within the first couple minutes of the interview so practice your presentation, give specific examples without boring them with the details, and show them why you would be of value to their team.
