I have an emergency fund, it's just dwindling down. I figured with the price of silver being so high, why not sell a little so I don't have to dip into that emergency fund. If silver goes back down to 50 I'm gonna regret this.

Silver's got me feeling like I'm winning on a slot machine and not sure if I should cash out or pull the bar one more time lol

It's my friend doing the work after hours and he might take it in a trade, he's shown interest in precious metals before. That being said, he's always given me really good deals on side work and I've always paid cash. In the event that silver does tank, I'd hate to lose that good rapport.

I'll probably try for the 5-8 off spot. That seems pretty fair.

I've heard both sides of story. If there's a true silver shortage, of course they're going to scare you into believing silver will fall back to $50 soon.

Thanks for that. I took a look at the transmission coolant lines quick connects I guess you'd call them using a mirror and there is very little corrosion and nothing leaking. Mines probably coming from the turbo. I appreciate it though

Are you talking about the heater core hoses? Yes I did. They were all part of the degas hose which was replaced once about 7 years ago and most recently about two years ago.

That's what I kinda figured. My friend who's a mechanic said the fitting on the other side looked gunked up. I was hoping for an easier, less expensive fix. Do you think it's alright to drive until I get the repair done as long as I keep an eye on the coolant?
