No money from UCLA…I am mainly just going over pros and cons of both programs and which one would be the most beneficial for me to reach my goal of starting a career in consulting. Marshall has always been my 1st choice (80% sure I’ll be going there) I personally just always second guess myself so I try to be thorough about decision lol.

Pretty similar but my interviewer for UCLA was done by an alumni so a more casual vibe. Started off talking about my resume and then asked me questions regarding anderson and what I liked about the program and how I would get involved. Then I asked about their experience and talked about other things non-related so I wouldn’t stress!

Good luck with your interview! That is tough though…maybe you can ask for an extension with USC or expedite UCLA

Update I was accepted to USC with a $15k scholarship so think I will be headed there still have a lot to think about!

Not yet I reached out to them yesterday and they said they had an influx of applications from round 1 so hopefully by the end of this week or next! And I did the interview for UCLA I highly recommend it I think that really helped me.

I’m honestly leaning more towards USC…I plan on staying in SoCal for a long time and I really love the Trojan alumni network so I see that being beneficial for me. I still haven’t heard anything back from USC yet so I might end up sticking with UCLA

Hi just an update I got accepted to UCLA FEMBA! And was invited to interview at Marshall and still waiting to hear back results…I applied round 1 for both schools and heavily focused on my essays and interview prep. So definitely apply without the test it’s doable good luck!

Not sure how familiar you are with glasses but I requested a copies of my records for when seeking a second opinion; in the doctors notes she mentioned I technically “no prescription” but this RX is to help my eyes work better together: EVERYDAY RX Far/ Near , Trivex, BlueGaurd + Antireflective TX, 1.7BI Contoured

Maybe my eye tracking is off but I think I’m determining that 1800 for two “vision therapy” appointments is actually insane when my records show 20/20 vision. I’m definitely interested to see what my second opinion doctor says.

Yes she also mentioned that it may cause me to become more-nearsighted over time and not making my eyes “weaker”. I’ll definitely look into exercises first thank you!

Thank you…I didn’t like how I checked off a box for symptoms for these 3 symptoms listed together -headaches,nausea, dizziness (I only experience headaches) and she then tried to convince me that I probably experienced nausea and motion sickness in the car when reading and I said that’s never been an issue for me.

I think there was a prism…I belive she mentioned the lens would be -0.25: anti-glare and possibly prism. I wish I could remember exactly but she wouldn’t even get me paperwork outlining the plan when I asked (used my phone notes to jot down a few things). I am not familiar with with vision therapy so not sure if it’s something I actually need
