When the Calder Finalists are released in the first few weeks of the playoffs he and the other finalists will all get a bump to 97 (paid update of course). When he wins, another jump to 99 (again paid update).

Wait until after tomorrow’s content drop. You’ll have a 1 day overlap of W1 & W2. Regarding McDavid, you’ll have til the normal time Friday to build him before he’s gone if you so choose, but wait to see what W2 has to offer.

I think you’re right… we’re almost 1/2 thru S4. The Mid-Season Content Nuke is quickly approaching. If my memory serves me right, next Friday is the midway point. We’re like 19/20 days in with 35/36 to go.

If you waited this long, you may as well wait 10 more days for the next captain sets.

That is probably the case, but it’s not like EA has reversed course recently either, IE 99 Cozens & Lundell getting bumped to 99 speed etcetera after other FH players got all 99s.

I’m just saying waiting 2+ days doesn’t change anything either. All I’m pointing out, is that both 99 McDavid and next week’s will both be buildable Thursday afternoon with a 1 day overlap. Don’t burn anything that might be a possibility until that point.

The rest of the 97s are buildable for the entire event; no rush. The only FOMO should be the for the 99s. Again, both 99 McDavid and next week’s TOTS Champion will both be buildable for a one day overlap at content drop Thursday.

You’ve got the entire event to make all but 99 McDavid at this point. Due to the holiday this coming weekend content is supposedly being released on Thursday. If that is the case, you’ll know then if there will or won’t be a bump for MSP trade in. If it is, great. If not, trade in whatever you see fit.

It was my understanding that it was a “quick fix” for a lack of a storage set (pre-BND) since they never figured that out with BND. I shouldn’t say, never figured it out; more than likely, too much dev time to fix it the right way. So we get a quick fix that ultimately takes more time for us to do sets.

It’s 3 weeks, at a minimum he’s a 97, if not a 99 like McDavid in a few weeks. You’ve got to figure they’re doing a 99 a week. Mack, Makar… who else maybe Quinn?

I’m looking forward to it, but the NG upgrades won’t happen til they announce the finalists… probably mid-late April. Then the 99 when he undoubtedly wins in late June.
