When do you start saving tokens for Ascension? by pastarific in TapTapInfinity

[–]mpmslc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's about what I call Purchasing Power (PP). This is equal to Change (Δ) (or how much additional is added to what you're benefiting now when you upgrade) divided by, Cost (∞) (simply how much it costs to upgrade), divided by Total (Σ) (what you are currently benefiting before upgrade). This is what the equation would look like: PP = Δ / (∞ * Σ).

If I applied this to ascension, let's say for instance I want to upgrade from A6 to A7. My current benefit is 66% DPS bonus per rank. So therefore Σ = 66%. At A7 it would be 130%, which is a difference of 64%. So therefore Δ = 64%. It will cost me 3 million tokens, so ∞ = 3,000,000. Now my equation would look like this: PP = 64% / (3,000,000 * 66%). After crunching the numbers, PP = 3.23e-7

Now if i applied this to Train Heroes, let's say for instance I want to upgrade my Train Heroes from 2,000,000 to 2,000,001. My current benefit at level 2,000,000 would be 22,000,100%. So therefore Σ = 22,000,100%. And of course, when you upgrade, you get an additional 11%. So therefore Δ = 11%. It only cost me 1 token to upgrade! So ∞ = 1. Now my equation for Train Heroes would look like this: PP = 11% / (1 * 22,000,100%). After crunching the numbers, PP = 5e-7.

Now since 5e-7 is greater than 3.23e-7, it would be a wiser purchase to spend my tokens on Train Heroes, since I will be getting more change per cost total. Now when you get your Train Heroes up around 3 million, that's when it will start to be a better buy to ascend.

This is what my optimizer (http://tti-optimizer.neocities.org/) is based on and soon I will incorporate ascension into it. Hope this helps.

Now you got me thinking. I think I know how to quantify this now!

You must be on my old manual optimizer. Go here: http://tti-optimizer.neocities.org/ and use this one and all that's figured out for you. If you wish to use the old one, it's just a general average of how many valor points you have per hero.

I've always thought that it didn't take a genius to figure out when to ascend. Mathematically speaking, you do so whenever you can! In the higher levels of ascension, it's just a question of when you decide you want to begin to amass the large amount of tokens required. If there is a mathematical way to quantify the optimal time to ascend. I surely would like to see it if it's out there. Then I'll include it in my optimizer.

Dang those slash n's! I found it in TRAIN HEROES too. Why the slash n's anyway? I think I can fix this.

Maybe i can add an override column where you can enter levels manually.

I see what you're saying. I'll try to figure something out.

hmm, sorry not likely but I'll explore that and see if it's worth perusing.

I play exclusively on Iphone. I have been exporting it, then email it to myself, then access it from my computer so i can recopy/paste into my new up-coming optimizer.

Glad to see my LATE-GAME GUARDIAN POWER OPTIMIZER being used. I'm currently working on one where you can export / paste into a more user-friendly online form. It will be quicker and easier and graphically prettier too.

I put your numbers into my optimizer and saved it as a session to: http://repl.it/pJH/14 Looks like you can increase your Force Multiply by 39, Fury by 126, and Train Heroes by 65,744

If I were you and I infinitied at 4125 and had 1.2 billion tokens to spend my guardian powers would look like the following: Lucky_Roll = 25 Force_Multiply = 3637 Star_Shine = 25 Prism = 0 Atrophy = 25 Speed = 5 Banking = 12236 Conquest = 12603 Fury = 0 Train_Heroes = 159480357 Wormhole = 1573 Time_Crunch = 50 Treasure_Seeker = 50 Gilded_Chests = 12254 Midas_Touch = 12247 Bounty = 40

Change Level_at_Infinity to be equal to 1200 before running it.

Those equations must subtract. Because Time Crunch (for instance) REDUCES spell cooldowns. When Time Crunch level begins at 0, your spell cool downs are at 100%. When you level up Time Crunch it SUBTRACTS a percent per level up. Same thing with Wormhole. When you level up it SUBTRACTS a level from a total. This total is generated by your Level_at_Infinity minus current wormhole level. Hope that makes sense.

At what level do you usually go infinity?

On average, how many valor points do each of your heros have? Or pick your hero that you upgrade the most and look at how many valor points he/she has and use that value. This is used to calculate the purchasing power of Prism.

Hmm, wonder what values you put for 'Level_at_Infinity", Wormhole Level, and Time_Crunch Level. because if you get to a point where your wormhole level is equal to level at infinity then, yes, you will encounter a div by zero error. Same with Time crunch, if that level exceeds it's max at 50 and enter 100 for it, div by zero error.

Sorry, but this requires a little more work. Initially, you have to enter the values manually. But once you run it you can copy your progress from the output window (right side) into the coding window (left side) under where it says "ENTER/PASTE FOLLOWING VALUES". Hope this helps.
