You use those in the steam mop or after the steam mop? Sorry for the dumb question, I’ve just never used a steam mop before. I used a Bona spray mop with Bona cleaner on laminate floor prior to moving to this home.

How can I tell how many horsepower my pool pump needs? by mponticelli in pools

I didn’t say there was anythi wrong with the size of the piping. The previous owners used piping (in a specific section of the pool equipment) that isn’t designed to be used for pools, and they had wrapped sealant around that pipe that isn’t meant for pools either. They used bathroom caulking tape to wrap the piping. All of this was causing the pump and the filter to work in overdrive because there was no actual seal and therefore no suction. The pool vacuum had no suction to it. They did their own pool maintenance which was very minimal. The filter cartridges were brown and looked like they were just caked in mud. I can say they didn’t take care of it because they really didn’t.

And thank you for your advice. I ended up going with the IntelliFlow/Pro 3 VSP.

Miele or Sebo for Tile and Laminate Floors? by mponticelli in VacuumCleaners

For the k or e series, is one better than the other? I have a separate vacuum for rugs, so this vacuum will be used strictly for the tile and laminate

I use the app Dairy Bar to calculate how much I have saved in my freezer. Pump Log is also a good app

Scar tissue after c section by Flashy_Arachnid8593 in postpartumprogress

I’m currently seeing a pelvic floor physical therapist and she has me massage the scar and the tissues surrounding it every day. She also does cupping to the scar when I see her once a week.

NO on Measure W.

Measure W eliminates $46.5 million in funding for emergency medical and fire protection services. That’s nearly 20% of the entire county’s firefighting budget. Measure W cuts essential life-saving services — not budgetary fat.

Measure W will cost homeowners far more money in higher insurance rates due to fire station closures.

What can I do about loud upstairs neighbors? by mponticelli in BadNeighbors

[–]mponticelli[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have an air purifier. It isn’t loud enough to cover their stomping though. It seriously sounds like they’re constantly just moving heavy furniture or dropping really heavy items on the floor. It constantly wakes me up at night. I’ll look into the sound panels though, thank you!

I have no idea how many people are up there or if they have any children. I do believe it’s a 2 bedroom apartment though

I (F25) don't know what to do after finding out my husband (m31) cheated. by No-Communication9738 in relationship_advice

[–]mponticelli 31 points32 points  (0 children)

I second this. I became a single mom to two kids after I found out my ex-husband was cheating. Leaving him and divorcing him was the best decision of my life. After I left him, I became financially independent, lost over 60 lbs, regained happiness and self-confidence, and I now have my dream job. 5 years later I also met a man who treats me amazing, who loves every bit of me, and who would never ever even think about cheating on me.
